Zhejiang Folk Art & Acrobatics General Troupe Co., Ltd. is located in Hangzhou, the national reputed “Paradise” and the world-famous scenic city. Its predecessor, Zhejiang Opera Troupe (Team), established in 1959, specialized in Suzhou Storytelling Performance and Ballad Singing. It was the key team in such circle at that time. From 1993, it began to run a farce troupe; from 1996, it began to enroll acrobatic talent; In February 1997, it was expanded to Zhejiang Folk Art & Acrobatics General Troupe after approved by Zhejiang Provincial Editorial Board and Department of Culture. The troupe has been a comprehensive provincial professional art performance troupe with 160 performers in total, including Zhejiang Opera Troupe, Zhejiang Acrobatic Troupe, Zhejiang Farce Troupe and Zhejiang Star Performance Company. Moreover, it is a productive entity with three art fields and an operational entity in performance.
